Wake Up With Carson Wentz Threading The Needle With An Absolute Dart To Miles Sanders For A Touchdown
On the run. Barely has any window at all to fit this ball through. Puts it just out of the reach of two Redskins defenders, and directly in the chest of Miles Sanders in the back corner of the end zone. That, my friends, is an elite ball. That, my friends, is the type of play you get out of Carson Wentz.
Sure, he has some issues with holding on to the ball at times. But that'll all change once he has some receivers around him who can get open quicker. And that's not a dig on the receivers that the Eagles ran out there yesterday. I don't expect those guys to be getting open right away. But when you don't have DeSean Jackson out there to stretch the field, and Alshon Jeffery plays pretty much the entire season injured, and Nelson Agholor forgets how to play football? Carson is going to feel the need to hold on to the ball a little longer to make something happen. Unfortunately that comes with quite a few fumbles (maybe he should work on his hands a little more than just praying), but I'll take the fumbles here and there as long as he keeps delivering darts like this. Because anybody can fumble the ball, but there are only a select few humans on the planet who can deliver this dart. They're all Hall of Famers.
